Music, voice and rhythm lessons with Zak - a university-trained musician who teaches every lesson himself. Big progress is just a lot of small tracks in the snow.

About the studio
Zak is passionate about teaching music in a way that feels like fun rather than how it would feel in a classroom.
The goal
For every student to be able express themselves the way they want to, through music.
The technique
Students will find themselves listening, singing, and interacting with music before they even have to read sheet music. The teacher listens and caters to the student's every need with patience and understanding.
The process
A free intro lesson to set goals and to see if the fit is right. After that there will be weekly sessions at the same time, where we work to improve musical skills. The student will receive written and recorded feedback after each session.
Three ways to study
Every student starts with a short conversation about goals, then we build a plan from there.
Voice & Speech
Vocal techniques, breath support, diction, and building confident speaking.

Rhythm
Counting, subdivision, and learning about repetition in music that creates a groove.
- Ages 5+
- Group or solo
He was a great instructor for me, very patient - always using simple language to help me understand complex musical concepts.
I studied with Zak for voice lessons while at USD and loved it! He is a great coach and helped me improve in so many areas. Though I find it intimidating to sing in front of others, Zak is very personable and made singing very comfortable. He has so much knowledge on singing and knows how to coach. Zak is great!
He was amazing! He really helped me become the best performer I could be and showed me that singing high is well within my range. If you're looking for voice lessons I very much recommend! He is so nice and so very flexible. Overall 10/10 experience!
